An action-packed 2023/24 season came to a close this month for FC Stars with teams excelling across the country in postseason and showcase events.

In Mid-July, our 2011 & 2008 ECNL Blue Girls teams reached the Semifinals of the ECNL Girls National Finals in the Champions League Division. FC Stars was one of five ECNL Girls clubs in the country to have multiple Semifinal participants.

For the 2011's, their first-ever trip to the postseason ended in great success. They claimed one of the final Champions League spots in the draw after a third place finish in the U13 ECNL Girls New England Conference Regular Season. Once in Seattle, they gained steam at the ECNL National Playoffs, topping their group with seven points before defeating PDA in the Round of 16. A 1-0 Win over Arlington SC moved them to the Semi's before falling short against So Cal Blues.

Our 2008 ECNL Blue Girls broke through to the Semifinals after years of playoff attempts. A dominant regular season saw them win the U16 ECNL Girls New England Conference, one of four FC Stars Blue teams to do so. Three group stage wins booked their ticket to the knockout rounds, where the girls then won a thrilling Penalty Shootout vs MLVA. Their 2-0 Quarterfinal Win vs So Cal Blues punched their ticket to the last four before a 3-2 defeat to XF Academy.

The season ended in glory for our 2009 ECNL White team though, who captured the 2024 National Cup XXIII Championship in Denver, CO. After winning a regional qualifying event in Florida earlier this summer, the girls headed West to claim their hands on the trophy. Two dominant wins clinched their berth in the final that saw Stars overcome a previous defeat to Tulsa SC by winning 4-1 over the Oklahomans.

Last but not least, FC Stars Lancaster Boys sent two teams to Minnesota for the Target USA Cup. The club had a representative at both the weekend and the weeklong events. Stars kicked off the Target USA Cup Weekend by reaching the Quarterfinals in the U19 division, losing to the eventual finalists. In addition to competitive games, the weeklong Target USA Cup saw Stars receive gifts from the event sponsor Target and attend a Minnesota United home game. FC Stars plans to return to the event in 2025.
