Eight FC Stars ECNL Boys & Girls are headed to the West Coast for what should be a captivating week at the ECNL National Playoffs. 

Six ECNL Girls teams are off to Seattle while our '07 & '08 ECNL Boys sides travel to San Diego, California. 

Kicking off Saturday, June 22, the ECNL Girls National Playoffs will host the best clubs in the country at 60 Aces Park in the Emerald City. Our U13, U15, U16, U17, & U19 ECNL Blue sides will compete in the Champions League Division at the playoffs while our U17 ECNL White team will look to lift the North American Cup. 

FC Stars will be looking to carry over their strong form from the ECNL regular season into the postseason. All FC Stars ECNL Blue high school-aged groups won the ECNL Girls New England Conference Championship this spring, becoming one of only two clubs to win their conference championship at all U15-U19 age groups.

Meanwhile, our 2007 ECNL White team will look to use their experience from last season's ECNL Girls Playoffs to make a strong push for the North American Cup. Lastly, our 2011 ECNL Blue team will be making their postseason debut in what hopefully is the first of many playoff appearances. 

For the U13-U17 Champions League Divisions, all 44 teams will play three games in a group-stage-style format. The eleven group winners along with the five best runners-up will advance to the Round of 16, played on either Thursday, June 27 or Friday, June 28. 

For the U19 Champions League Division, only 16 teams qualified and will enter a straight knockout tournament. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games, with only the finalists playing a fourth game. The U19 ECNL Girls Champions League Division Final will be on Thursday, June 27.

The U17 North American Cup will follow the same format as the U19 Champions League, with a winner also crowned on Thursday, June 27.

Given the elite competition on-hand at the playoffs, it is expected to host the most college coaches of any girls showcase or event in 2024 among all national competitions. The list of attending college coaches can be found here, while the list of qualified teams can be found here.

FC Stars ECNL Girls National Playoffs Schedule

Further down the coastline, our two ECNL Boys sides will begin their ECNL Boys National Playoffs journey on Tuesday, June 25 at the Surf Cup Sports Park. Both teams will compete in the Champions League Division and play three group stage games. As opposed to the girls format, only the winners of each group will advance to the Round of 16 held on Sunday, June 30. 

Our U17 ECNL Boys side became the first team in FC Stars history to win the ECNL Boys Northeast Conference Championship earlier this spring following an 11-1-2 season and an undefeated record at home. On the other hand, our U16's waited a little longer to clinch their postseason berth. Results on the final day of the regular season went their way and they subsequently clinched a playoff bid for the second consecutive year. 

When combining the competition and the California sunshine, college coaches will be packing the sidelines at the ECNL Boys National Playoffs. The list of attending college coaches can be found here, while the list of qualified teams can be found here.

Teams who win their Round of 16 games will advance to the ECNL National Finals held next month in Richmond, Virginia. The event will serve as the season finale for both Boys & Girls ECNL teams.
