ECNL Atlanta Recap: Boys Teams Travel South For First Taste of ECNL Showcase Season
The first ECNL Showcase event of the season concluded Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia as our three participating boys teams gained valuable experience against talented opposition at ECNL Atlanta.
Our U12, U13, and U14 ECNL Boys teams made the trip down South this past weekend for their lone showcase of the season. The event featured 60 teams from 23 different clubs across the country.
The Peach City saw our U14 ECNL Boys team continue their terrific start to the season. They went 2-0-1 on the weekend, defeating Concorde Fire Premier & the Chattanooga Red Wolves before drawing their final game against Florida Elite. Our 2010 Boys have only lost one game so far across three tournament and showcase events.
While ECNL Atlanta served as a valuable springboard for the 2023/24 season, it meant a little extra to our two younger boys teams. The event was the first time these players attended an ECNL Showcase, providing them with an opportunity to match up against teams from new areas around the country for the first time ever.

FC Stars will be a frequent guest at ECNL Showcases throughout the 2023/24 season. With seven boys and girls teams combined in the ECNL & ECNL Regional League platforms, our players have the opportunity to compete against talented opposition from around the country in front of hundreds of college coaches. It is not uncommon to see over 400 college coaches at certain ECNL Showcase events.
