It's that time of the year again.

Seven FC Stars ECNL Boys & Girls teams kick off their postseason journey this weekend at the ECNL National Playoffs. Our 2008 ECNL Boys team is off to Greensboro, North Carolina, while our six girls sides play out their playoff dreams in San Diego, California.

Qualifying for the ECNL Playoffs was based on the final standings for ECNL regular season. Our ‘08 Boys qualified as a result of finishing in the top four of the 2022/23 ECNL Boys Northeast Conference with a 7-6-3 record. They’ll play three teams in a group-stage format similar to what is seen in a World Cup or a UEFA Champions League. Only the winners of each group (16 in total) will advance to the knockout stage.

All games for the ECNL Boys Playoffs will be held at Bryan Park.

Over on the girls side, four sides qualified for the ECNL Girls Playoffs Champions League, the top competitive bracket. Our 2010, 2009, 2008, and 2006 ECNL Blue teams will play in a format similar to the boys, just with 11 groups instead of 16. Group winners will advance to the Round of 16 along with the five-best second place teams.

Our last two remaining postseason qualifiers, FC Stars 2007 ECNL Blue and FC Stars 2007 ECNL White, will play in a bracket-style, knockout tournament in San Diego. ‘07 Blue will compete in the North American Cup while ‘07 White are in the Showcase Cup B. Both tournaments will have 16 teams who are all guaranteed a minimum of three games.

All girls games will take place at the Surf Cup Sports Park. Please be advised that there will be a parking fee for the event. Parking rates can be found here
