It’s fair to say that Memorial Day Weekend is the busiest soccer weekend of the year for teams based in the Northeast, with clubs entering tournaments and showcase events in hopes of ending the year on a strong note. That sentiment certainly applies to our U15-U17 ECNL Boys and Girls teams, where they’ll be on the road attending ECNL Showcases this weekend in Virginia and New Jersey, respectively. 

ECNL Virginia will host our '08, '07, & '06 boys teams across three days of action in Midlothian & Glen Allen, Virginia. Each team will have one game per day against talented opposition from across the country in a showcase event that is expected to have over hundreds of college coaches in attendance.

Meanwhile, our U15-U17 ECNL Girls Blue and White teams will be staying closer to home during the holiday weekend as they travel to Somerset for ECNL New Jersey. The lone Mid-Atlantic ECNL Showcase of the season will host 166 teams across the three age groups - and even more college scouts.

Each ECNL Showcase event will run Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29. ECNL Virginia will be the fifth showcase of the season for our national & regional boys program while ECNL New Jersey will be the sixth of the season for our national and regional girls teams.

Our appearances at ECNL Showcases have brought Stars Nation to six different states and the privilege of playing elite competition from across the country. ECNL Showcases have no impact on ECNL regular season standings.
