Monday marked the conclusion of our time at ECNL Florida and ECNL RL Florida, with our four boys teams combining for a 5-4-3 record.

Our ‘04/05 ECNL National boys finished undefeated at ECNL Florida, continuing their strong form at ECNL Showcase events. Our ‘04/05 and ‘06 ECNL National teams have each only lost once out of a combined six showcase games when factoring in results from ECNL South Carolina (Fall).

Friday night saw William Noble play for Team West in the Continental Tire ECNL Regional League Selection Game. Noble, a goalkeeper on our ‘04/05 ECNL Regional team, spoke last week about his excitement heading into the marquee event.

“I was super excited when I was selected,” he said. “I am looking forward to playing with a lot of high-quality players in a big game with a lot of spotlight.”

Our U17 and U19 ECNL Regional and National boys teams competed against strong opposition in front of a large collection of collegiate coaches. ECNL RL Florida was the most attended Boys Regional League event in the 2022-23 season with 92 teams registered. Meanwhile, the national showcase in Florida hosted 202 teams, the most of any boys showcase event thus far. 

FC Stars will be returning to ECNL Boys National Showcase events in the month of May for ECNL South Carolina (Spring) and later ECNL Virginia, held on Memorial Day weekend. As a club, our next scheduled ECNL showcase will be on the girls side at ECNL Phoenix (Spring).
