FC Stars Set to Send 12 Girls Teams To ECNL Showcases in Florida
With the holiday season behind us, it’s time to get back out onto the field.
Twelve ECNL Girls FC Stars teams will be taking their talents to the Sunshine State as part of overlapping ECNL Showcase Events. Our U16, U17, and U19 Blue and White girls teams will compete against strong opposition in front of a large collection of collegiate coaches.
ECNL RL Florida will be held from Friday, Jan. 6 through Sunday, Jan. 8 in Sanford, Florida. FC Stars RL Blue and White will each have one game per day either at the Seminole Soccer Complex or Sylvan Lake Park.
ECNL RL Florida is expected to be the most attended Girls Regional League event in the 2022-23 season with 168 teams registered. The full schedule of games can be found here, while the full FC Stars schedule can be found below. The list of college coaches attending can be found here.

Though Sunday marks the end of the Regional League showcase, it also will host the opening day of the National League showcase. ECNL Florida (Winter) runs Jan. 8 to Tuesday, Jan. 10 at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Similarly, our Blue and White teams across the three age groups will play one game per day.
This weekend’s showcase will be the first of two ECNL National Showcases in Florida. The January event will host a whopping 230 teams across three age groups, while the March event sees only 81 competing teams.
