The U15 FC Stars ECNL Blue team was eliminated by PDA Blue in the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday, losing by a scoreline of 2-0 at the ECNL Girls National Playoffs. 

Stars had won all three of their group stage games to reach this stage of the competition, outscoring their opponents 12-1. They were unable to overcome their New Jersey rivals though.

The U15 ECNL Blue team finished second in the regular season while playing in the New England Regional League. Their league position qualified them for this week’s playoffs in Redmond, Washington. Stars Head Coach Graeme Blackman said after the game the girls had a “great season.”
