Worcester - Junior Academy

FC Stars Worcester Academy

Dave Noel - dnoel@starsofma.org

- The FC Stars of Massachusetts places a high level of importance on the development of its youngest players. We recognize that this is where the future begins and consequently, our priority in the Junior Academy is the development of each and every player that attends.

Our philosophy is to provide participating players with the environment to be taught the fundamental aspects of the game without eliminating the fun and enjoyment of it, which remains the most important element for success. The age and skill level of the participant is taken into consideration to maximize the programs benefits to the player.

Goal of the Program
- The “Junior Academy” provides the developmental bridge between recreational soccer and competitive soccer.  These programs focus on technical skill development in a fun environment. These sessions will provide some experience with the professional environment that our club provides for our players. While many players decide only to play soccer with FC Stars, these programs are not meant to deter any player from playing with their town team.  That choice is to be made by the parent of each player.
