FC Stars of Massachusetts are proud to announce the 2012 Residential Camp at Franklin Pierce University.
The FC Stars Residential camp will offer all Stars players an intense premier soccer experience, creating a fun and competitive learning environment for players at every level. Our professional coaching staff will be using the FC Stars curriculum, running technical sessions throughout the morning, leading into the tactical aspects of the game in the afternoon. Each group will play 4v4, 6v6, futsal and a full field matches throughout the week.
Goalkeeper training will be conducted by our very own GK coach Matt Davison. He will help develop their technique while teaching them a better tactical understanding of the position.

Day Camp Option
This is for players that do not wish to stay over night. Parents are responsible for dropping kids off before breakfast and picking up after the last soccer session. Drop off times and pick up will be scheduled the week prior to camp.
Cost for Day Camp: $575, this is now open to registrations.
How to Register
Current FC Stars players/families with a Demosphere account must follow the instructions below.
- If you are still new to the Demosphere system please click here for the FC Stars Guidline to our registration system.
- If you are familiar with our system and have a Demosphere account please click ‘Option 2’ and sign in to your account.
- Please click on ‘Register’ next to your child’s name that you wish to attend Camp.
- Once at the players info page please go to ’choose program menu’ and select the ‘Residential Camp 2012 – Franklin Pierce’ for the overnight option or ’Residential Camp 2012 - Franklin Pierce - Day Option’ for the Day only option.
- You can click continue you at the bottom of the page and then make payment.
Once you have made payment you have succesfully registered for camp. FC Stars will contact you a month prior to camp with more information, i.e. roommate request, t-shirt size etc….

Room and Board
All players and coaching staff are housed in dormitories on the Franklin Pierce Campus; these rooms have air-conditioning. They will also have full use of the campus cafeteria, any allergies or special diets must be indicated on the medical form sent out by the camp director before camp. FC Stars will be sending out an additional email nearer the time with roommate requests.
Medical Supervision
A qualified athletic trainer will be on duty throughout the duration of the camp to care for minor injuries, sickness, and to ensure that all campers receive proper hydration. Adult staff members (chaperones) will also reside in the dorms during the week to care for the players. The medical form will be sent to you when you have applied for the camp this must be properly completed and submitted on time.

How many players to a room?
There will be 2 players in each room. You can request a roommate, FC Stars will be sending out an email before camp asking for requests.

What is the coach to player ratio?
There will be ’1 coach to 14 player’ ratio based on expected attendance.
What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds.
FC Stars will only allow for the following circumstances (less $100 Administration fee)
-Your Stars Team makes Nationals
-You are injured and have a doctor’s note excusing you from the week of camp
-You did not make next year’s FC Stars team and do not wish to participate in camp
-A family bereavement
May non Stars players attend?
Yes, on a case by case basis. Please contact Tim Hallett (email: thallett@starsofma.org) with referrals for friends of Stars players.
Are the rooms Air Conditioned?
The dorms we have booked do have AC, but if this changes you will be notified.
Laundry?
There is a laundry room in each building we will be staying in. This is free to use, but each player will need to bring their own washing detergent.
Do I need to bring linen?
We recommend you bring your own sheets, blanket (or sleeping bag), pillow and towels. The rooms will have single extra long mattresses. If you forget to bring your own linen this will be available at a cost of $10 for a week rental (blanket not included).
Does my child need to bring extra money?
Yes there will be opportunities for the campers to purchase snacks, memorablia and other camp items. It is up to you how much you give to your child, but an average is $50.
What happens if my child loses their room key?
There will be a $10 dollar charge for each player that loses their room key, please remind your child that they must look after their key.
Chaperones?
There will be chaperons on hand to deal with any non-coaching issues. As well as 1 camp counselors per 12 kids.
